St. Peter’s Church & The Balmoral Hotel Warrenpoint Wedding: Claire & Stuart
Claire and Stuart Live in England so we actually only met up with them again a few days before their wedding, when we headed down to Warrenpoint for their engagement shoot. We had a great time then so we really fired up for their wedding day. It was a beautiful April day when we headed off for Claire and Stuarts Warrenpoint Wedding. We Started off at with Claire at her mums house getting some fantastic detail shots for Claire’s dress and jewellery. We even managed to get a sneaky shot of Claire practicing her vows.
Claire is a star and has been reading our blog for a while now so had seen our article about wearing sensible shoes and so had taken me to hear and got herself a fantastic pair personalised of trainers ready for the us heading off for the bridal portrait session.
after about an hour or so with the girls we headed off St Peter’s Church which is situated in the heart of Warrenpoint itself to meet up with the Stuart and his groomsmen. We got some lovely shots around the grounds of the church and in the streets nearby.
Claire and her ladies arrived in some of the best cars we have seen all year. what do you think?
Claire and Stuart were lucky enough to be married by Fr Brian Fitzpatrick who is Claire’s cousin, so the service was very personal for them full of lovely little touches that made it really special.
Following the service we all headed across the road to the park to get the family shots and some sneaky ones of Claire and Stuart.
We then headed back to the cars and took a quick spin down to Rosstrevor and the fairy Glen for the bridal portraits.
See Claire was a real trouper and after a quick change of shoes, we headed off along the riverside.
We got about 100 meters in and Graham looks down into the river, and then looks at Claire.. “Do you think you could get down to those rocks?” Graham asked, “sure no problem. that’s why I brought the trainers” says Claire with a smile. Carefully Claire and Stuart make their way down into the river! I think I can safely say the shot’s are worth the effort.
After a little while and some more stunning shots we headed back to Warrenpoint and the Balmoral Hotel. Clare and Stuart had got some fantastic personalised details around the hotel, both for the reception and for their evening party Including a very personal cake topper for Stuart!
