Colourful Motorbike inspired Mill at Ballydugan Wedding: Donna & Neil
Donna and Neil had their motorbike inspired Mill at Ballydugan wedding back in July. It was a fantastic day even though the weather was a bit ropy to begin the day. Unusually we started the day with Neil at his folks house getting some shots of the boys getting ready. We got some great shots here of Neil an of his lads before we headed on up the road to Donna. We got there and hair and Make-up were in full swing so we got straight on with the detail shots of Donna’s dress, the shoes and all the other bits and bobs. We nipped outside with the flowers and the girls to get some quick shots the them before it was time to head off to the Mill.
Neil is a keen Motorbiker and is a big fan of the TT racing, so of course the wedding wouldn’t be complete with out the bikes there 🙂 We got some great shots with the bikes outside the mill itself with the lads before it was time for them to head upstairs before the ladies arrived.
Donna and Neil’s Ceremony was being held on the top floor of the mill and it was set up beautifully in a semi circle decorated by Ditsy Flowers.
Soon enough the girls were on their way down the lane to the mill, Expertly driven by the guys from I Do Wedding Cars. We got these great shots of Donna and her bridesmaids both at the car and outside the mill. We got some great shots of Donna with her folks before it was time for everyone to head on up to the top floor and for the ceremony to begin.
The Ceremony was lovely, it was performed by the Rev. Henry Stevenson and was really heartfelt.
Following the ceremony nipped along the road to the new garden at the mill and to their new house that is in the process of being renovated. it was really really windy down at the garden so we didn’t spend very long down there with the guys as we were all blowing away. We walked back up the road to the mill and got some great shots of the guys before on the way back and then around the mill.
Once we get back to the mill we did all the family shots before we nipped up to the reception room to get these great shots of all the little details that Donna and Neil had arranged for their guests and of their gorgeous cake from Vanilla Cake company. Soon enough it was time dinner and speeches. We got these great shots throughout the speeches before it was time for dinner to be served and for us to head on home.
