Halloween Parkanaur Manor House Wedding: Anna & Andrew

Anna and Andrews Halloween Parkanaur Manor House Wedding was one I had been looking forward to for ages! Ever since I first met Andrew when he came out by himself to meet me, I was so looking forward to meeting his lovely fiancee Anna and photographing their wedding. Why you may ask, well, because they were holding their wedding at a place I had wanted for ages to photograph at… Parkanaur Manor House. Ever since I first saw the abandoned swimming pool there, I just had to photograph it. Now that might sound a bit crazy, but keep reading and I think you will agree it was a great idea.

Anna and Andrew also had a wedding with a difference. They held the legal bit of the wedding the day before at Belfast City Hall and I asked the couple if they would like me to pop along for a while and get some pictures of the legal bit. They said yes. It was a very small affair at Belfast City Hall with just their very closest of friends and families (and me) attending. I love small dos just like that.

The couple got ready at the lovely Spice Cottages near Armagh. (We have shot there before, but it is a really great place to get ready). The weather was so good, that we did ALL of the bridal detail shots outside – hanging the dress on trees, shoes on fences and other bits and bobs on outdoor furniture that we found! It was truely different.

The following day they were to hold their “big” wedding day at the stunningly beautiful Parkanaur Manor. It was the day after Halloween, so it was a cold one, but great weather to get some beautiful Halloweeneque shots. We did manage to get down to the pool for my dream shot, it made my day! The weather was good for most of the photos with a wee bit of rain towards the end of the couple shots… but with such a great venue, some stunning indoor snaps were a must! Anyhow, enough of me, here you go…
