Limepark Cottages Rustic Winter Wedding: Michelle & Rory
It was a chilly morning at end of February with snow on the ground when we headed off from Belfast, to Limepark Cottages near Armoy for the stylish rustic winter wedding of Michelle & Rory. It hadn’t been very long since we last saw these guys as we had only a few weeks before been out for their fabulous winter engagement shoot at Rostrevor.
We started this wedding day with Michelle in the Long Barn one of Limepark’s excellently appointed holiday cottages and got some great shots of her and her bridesmaid getting ready, and of their accessories and the beautifully sympathetic wild flower style bouquets provided by the Stables Flower Company
After a little while, we scooted across the cobbles to meet up with Rory and his groomsmen having a sneaky Bushmills, purely for medicinal purposes of course, to calm the pre wedding nerves in another of Limepark’s excellent Holiday cottages. We had fun with the wee boys trying to get a shot of them looking out at the snow and rain through the window.
We dashed back across to the lovely “Little pigs house” cottage and met back up with Michelle who by now was looking absolutely stunning in her satin and lace wedding gown from Castle Couture. Michelle is a down to earth girl and did her own makeup, her hair was expertly done by a close friend.
Michelle and Rory said their vows on site at Limepark cottages in the Historic barn, I just adore this shot of the pageboy with the “here comes the bride” sign don’t you?
Following the ceremony we headed around the stunning grounds of Limepark to get some intimate wedding shots of Michelle and Rory. Michelle is a keen rider so was right at home with the resident horses. We also came across the fabulous swing, set amongst the years first snow drops and just couldn’t walk by without getting a few shots. After a little while though, the cold had got to all of us so we headed into Ned’s Loft cottage to get warmed back up we took the time while there to get some fantastic intimate shots of the new Mr & Mrs cuddled up on the sofa.
Everone headed in for the wedding breakfast, and were wowed by all the hard work Michelle and Rory had put into decorating this fabulous rustic space, they had done all the work themselves, doesn’t the place look amazing? and what about that cake? I just love these “naked cakes” they are perfect for your layed back country wedding. This cake came from the extremely talented guys from Hey Cupcake. After the speeches we headed home leaving everyone to tuck into their hog roast provided by The Fatted Calf and part the night away with drinks from the bar provided by the Balmoral Hotel Warrenpoint

I don’t think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! But we are so glad we found Graham! We’re not one to pose for photos. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete!
