Shaw’s Bridge Riverside Engagement: Rachael & Brent
Shaw’s Bridge is somewhere we don’t go very often for shoots for some reason, unless it is for a wedding. However, it is a place we like to go to walk the dog. The bridge itself is a five arch stone bridge over the river lagan marking an ancient crossing point between north and south Belfast. It’s named after Captain Shaw one of Cromwells engineers who built a stirdy oak bridge on the site in 1566. Along side the bridge there is also the rolling hills of Minnowburn and the Lagan tow path.
Rachel and Brent are getting married later this year at recently extensively refurbished Millbrook Lodge in Ballynahinch, so wanted to get some shots of them at a different location. So we all thought that a Shaw’s Bridge Riverside Engagement shoot would be a lovely contrast and got some lovely shots of them and of the ducks.
