Rustic Larchfield Estate Wedding: Sharon & Stuart
Larchfield estate is one of our favourite alternative wedding venues, We love the fact that you can have the best of both worlds with a barn and garden setting for either your ceremony or reception, So when Sharon and Stuart contacted us about photographing their Larchfield Estate wedding there we were delighted to work with them.
Sharon is from Northern Ireland but has been living in London for a while now which is where she met the lovely Stuart. They decided to tie the knot in Sharon’s home church Carnmoney Presbyterian where her father works. So it was planes and boats for all there London friends and for Stuarts Family as everyone was northern Ireland bound.
We started our day at Sharon’s parents house, getting some detail shots of the dress which was by Suzanne Neville and of the jewellery and shoes. We then headed on to get some fab shots of Sharon and her bridesmaids flowers, which were provided by David Lamont of Lisburn which I’m sure you will agree are absolutely fantastic! The girls soon arrived and as Sharon had opted to do her own makeup we got some great shots of the girls doing this.
It was soon time through for us to head off to Carnmoney Presbyterian church to meet up with Stuart and his boys. It was a lovely service supported by Sharon’s minister the Rev John Dickinson, and by the praise band. including a solo of Danny Boy by a close friend of the couples while the register was signed. Following the service we headed outside for some family pictures and then everyone headed off to Larchfield estate on the outskirts of Lisburn the bride and Groom and the bridal party travelled in the vintage VW Beetle and matching Camper from Star Cars which most of the guests travelled in the Ulster bus provided by the bride and groom.
Once at Larchfield there was a drinks reception down in the sunken garden for all the guests while we headed off with the couple to get some intimate shots of them both up at the barn buildings and then down around the garden and out into the lake area. Sharon and Stuart had set up some lawn games for their guests to pass the time and we couldn’t resist stopping off here for some shots of the couple playing giant Jenga.
It was soon time to head up to the barn for dinner, the room looked fabulous decorated by the skilled Blue Moon Room decoration team andDinner was preceded by speeches and was served buffet style by the Old Barn Catering team.
We left the couple dancing the night away and headed home 🙂

I don’t think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! But we are so glad we found Graham! We’re not one to pose for photos. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete!
