Old Industrial Titanic Quarter Engagement: Ruth & Ben
My tummy still has a few butterflies before every shoot. Even now, after nearly 9 years of being a photographer full-time. It is healthy and keeps me on my toes. It also makes me think about what I am doing and so not to become complacent. But having said that there are some shoots that will get the butterflies going more than others. This one one such shoot.
Ruth and Ben’s shoot was a shoot with a difference. The pressure was on as Ben is a professional photographer himself. So out my beautiful assistant and I headed with Ben and Ruth to photograph their engagement session. We headed to what is now known as Titanic Quarter, or for those of us who used to give guided tours to American’s of the shipyard before James Cameron launched a movie and everyone became obsessed with the Titanic, and long before Game of Thrones made the Harland & Wolff shipyard a tourist attraction.
We started off around the titanic building itself before heading off around the waste ground to get some shots with the iconic Samson and Goliath cranes, we stumbled across this old abandoned sofa while we were there so of course had to include that in some of their shots.
