Enchanting Holy Family Chapel Belfast & Ballygally Castle Wedding: Laura & Aaron

Laura and Aaron chose to get married in Laura’s local chapel the Holy family chapel in Belfast and then hold their reception at the all new refurbished Ballygally Castle Hotel on the coast road.

We started the day at Laura’s mums house,  We got some fantastic shots of Laura’s dress from Marie Me Bridal in Randalstown, with a little help from Laura’s brother and the use of their step ladder we got these great shots of the dress handing in the large window. We then headed down stairs with all the jewellery and shoes.  We wanted to use the fantastic backdrop of Laura’s mums wallpaper in their cloak room.  What do you think isn’t it just lovely! We headed outside with Laura’s flowers from Flowers of Elegance, Castlereagh Road Belfast,  We felt that the vibrant pinks would look at their best against the grass.  We headed in and got some great shots of the ladies getting ready before it was time for us to head off to Holy family chapel in Belfast  to meet up with Aaron and his lads.

when we arrived at Holy family chapel in Belfast  we had a few minutes before the boys arrived to get some shots of the inside of the chapel and of the musicals getting ready it also gave us time to make the acquaintance of Father Paul Strain, who was conducting there service. Soon enough Aaron and the boys arrived and we headed out to the side of the chapel to get some shots of the boys before heading back around to get some causal shots with their arriving guests.  2 of Laura and Aarons guests were familiar  faces to Hannah who knew them from her day job! Northern Ireland really is a small place isn’t it!

before long the ladies arrived expertly driven by the guys from David Andrews Wedding Cars its always nice to see familiar faces at weddings and the guys from David Andrews Wedding Cars are always so nice and accommodating its always a pleasure to work with them.  There was just enough time to get some great shots of Laura in the cars and with her bridesmaids, Mum and Brother outside the church before it was time for everyone to head in for the ceremony.

The ceremony was really touching including personal reading chosen by Laura and Aaron. Holy family chapel in Belfast is a beautifully big light chapel which made for some fantastically lit shots of the couple during their vows and the rest of the service.  Following the service Laura and Aaron signed their marriage register out in the they then had a receiving line which allowed us to get some great casual shots of them with their guests. We grabbed some quick shots with the couple before everyone headed back into the David Andrews Wedding Cars and headed off to Ballygally Castle Hotel .

When we arrived at Ballygally Castle Hotel we headed straight out into the gardens with Laura and Aaron,  to get their bridal portraits, they were super to work with and we got some stunning shots of them around the gardens.  We then headed off to the beach with the bridal party and got some cracking shots with them down there.

Following our time down on the beach we headed back up to the hotel and into the gardens and took all of Laura and Aarons Family shots. Before we headed into the newly refurbished reception rooms. The rooms were beautifully decorated by Leaf Design Room decorations  the room really did look lovely. we took some great shots of the room and then with the couple and their elegant Cake provided by Debbie’s Delight, Glen Road.  It was soon time to welcome all of the guests into the reception room and for the speeches to begin, We hung around and got some great shots of the wedding party and of the guests during the speeches before heading off as everyone tucked into their wedding breakfast.
