Outdoor Summer Larchfield Estate Wedding: Laura & Mark

Just to start, I’m just going to say I am soooo excited to be sharing this wedding with you guys. I thought fitting that as this is the last day of 2015 and this was the absolute highlight of it for me that I share this with you today! This is probably our favourite wedding ever! Both because Victoria and Ryan were a fantastic couple to work with and because they had such a truly unique wedding!  They decided that they wanted a small outdoor Glenoe Waterfall wedding and when I say small I mean it!  it was just them, their parents, the minister and us!

We started off the day at Victoria’s parents house getting all the detail shots of Victoria getting ready, of her dress from Biento Madame in Belfast and of her shoes and jewellery.  We then headed out side to get some shots of her bouquet from Cedar tree Ballyclare.

Soon enough it was time for Victoria to get into her dress, expertly helped by her mother. We took advantage of this time to get some great shots of Victoria getting ready and some lovely shots of her with her mother before we headed down stairs and off in the expertly driven cars from David Andrews. to Glenoe Waterfall.

As usual I headed off a little ahead of the bride, but this time we arrived as the groom was busy setting up the venue!   They had brought some chairs with them from home and had set them up along side the waterfall. I managed to get a few quick shots of Ryan as he got things ready for Victoria’s arrival.

soon enough Victoria arrived with her parents and it was time to get their intimate wedding underway.

I got some great shots of everyone as they arrived at the waterfall, especially of Victoria and her father and they walked the short distance from where the car had left them off.

The service was performed by the Rev Claire Marie Contino from Interfaith Foundation  and is perfectly legal so no dashing off to city hall for these guys! It was a truly lovely service made even more special by the intimacy of the occasion.

following the wedding the register was signed and confetti thrown.  following this Victoria and Ryan’s parents headed on back to Belfast to the Malmason Hotel where they had arranged to have dinner, while we stayed at the waterfall for a little while getting some cracking shots of the couple.

With the help of Hannah holding the light and the fantastic co-operation of the couple we managed to get some truly stunning images of them at the waterfall and around the grounds.  I think this below is my favourite.  Victoria was an absolute star to sit on the rocks for us.

Once we were finished at the water fall we headed around to where the cars were and got some great shots of the couple in Glenoe Village itself before we too headed off for the Malmason.

When we arrived in to the Malmason Belfast we headed straight up to the Goliath suite which the couple had booked and got even more cracking shots of them, I love this one of them by the pool table that was in their suite! after we got these great shots it was time for the couple to head down for dinner and us to head off home.  It really was a brilliant day that was just about love and the couple and none of the usual trappings of a wedding it was an absolute pleasure to be part of and I would like the thank Victoria and Ryan for allowing us to be part of their magical day. Cheers guys!
