Inspiring Chinese Galgorm Resort & Spa Wedding: Elizabeth & David
Elizabeth and David’s Chinese Galgorm resort wedding really was something different from the norm for us, From the moment we met David and Liz we were excited to shoot their wedding because we new it would really be something different for us. We were also realy excitied to be working again with our good mate Sean from Timeless productions we know we will always have a good way when we are with him he is such good fun. We started the day with Liz and her ladies and family at the log cabins at the Glagorm, getting all the little details of the dress from Logan’s Bridal Collection , shoes and flowers before in the calm before the storm when David and his boys arrived to do the traditional Chinese rituals.
Soon enough David was at the door and the games began, the boys have to do a series of tasks set by the bridesmaids to get in to claim the bride, it was great fun and a really different for us to get to see the bride and groom together before the service.
One the boys passed all the tests set by the bridesmaids it was time for the more formal traditions to take place, Liz looked amazing in her traditional dress and we got some great shots of the intimate exchanges of gifts.
Soon though it was time for us all to head on down to the Phantom House for the service, We headed down with David and his boys and got some shots of the inside and of them around the phantom house before the bridesmaids came down.
We got some some great shots of the ladies outside the phantom house and don’t their flowers from sally’s floral studio look amazing!
Soon enough Liz arrived with her dad driven down in the Galgorms own rolls Royce. we got some quick pics of her in the car and with her ladies outside the phantom house before we all headed in for the ceremony which was performed by the local registrar from Ballymena council.
The Ceremony was lovely including lots of little details that Liz and David had arranged.
Following the service we all headed outside the guys had arranged for Confetti for their guests to throw which was really lovely, following that we got everyone together the get a group shot before everyone else headed off to the Renaissance Suite while we took the bridal party and the couple off around the grounds of the Galgorm we got some great shots of the couple down by the river and at the love seat, and around the main hotel building before we headed back to the Renaissance Suite.
When we arrived back we headed straight on in to the reception room to get some of the details that Liz and David had arranged including some great shots of their lovely cake from Cake of Gold
Soon enough it was time for all the guests to make their way into the reception room and David had arranged a real surpise for Liz, He had arranged masks of himself and Liz for all the guests to wear when they came into the room and for the bridal party to set off confretti cannons! We got some great shots of them as they came in before everyone sat down for the speeches.
After the speeches Dinner was served and with Sean from Timeless Productions we headed over to the main hotel to grab a bite to eat before heading back to catch David and Liz’s first dance.
After the first few dances it was time to head outside. David had arranged for Fire works and sparkers for all the guests and what a great show it was! All the guests headed back in to to party the night away and we headed off home.

I don’t think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! But we are so glad we found Graham! We’re not one to pose for photos. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete!
