Alison and Michael planned a fantastic colourful rustic themed Larchfield Estate wedding for the the end of April.  We went out with them for their enagement shoot at the start of the year and were snowed on us! So we were all hoping for a better day for the wedding and boy did we get it.  We started the day with Alison’s girls at Alison’s parents house getting some great shots of the dresses. Alison chose a Ronald Joyce dress from Perfect Day bridal Studio in Lurgan. We also got lots of the other little details including Alison’s (in her own works ) Epic Irregular choice shoes! They we so epic in fact, we couldn’t help it but get some great shots of the flower girl in them too. I have to admit I’m totally in love with this shot of her.  Alison was still away getting her hair done so, when we were finished up with the dresses and shoes we headed down the road to meet up with Michael and his lads. We got some great shots of him putting the finishing touches to his outfit and with his mum at his parents house. Including these great ones of all the lad with the hip flasks before it was time to nip back to see Alison. Once we arrived back we got some shots of the flowers provided by Fleuriste aren’t they just stunning.  Soon enough though it was time for us all to head off to Lisburn and to Larchfield Estate .

Once we arrived at Larchfield Estate we headed into the wedding ceremony room and and got some shots of the set up and of the lovely floral arch that the couple had arranged.  soon enough Michael and the boys arrived shortly following by the guests. We got some lovely shots of Michael with the guests while we waited for the girls to arrive who were expertly driven by Star Cars  When the ladies arrived they pulled up to the court yard and we got some shots of the Bridesmaids, while Alison calmed her nerves before we all headed in for the ceremony.  The ceremony was really touching, you could tell that Alison and Michael are really in love. The Rev David Cooper did an expert job as emotions ran high in the room. The couple had really thought about it and put a lot into the ceremony to make it very personal to them.Rustic Themed Larchfield Estate WeddingRustic Themed Larchfield Estate Wedding

Following the ceremony we all headed outside to the courtyard to get some shots with the bridal party before we headed around the estate for photos. Michael is really into his guitars and he had brought them to the wedding so we couldn’t waste that great opportunity to get some fantastic shots with them.  I think these are some of my favourite shots of the year of both Michael and Alison and then of Alison on her own with the guitars what do you think? We then headed off around the garden and down to the lake with the couple while the bridal party headed back to the barn.

Once we were finised down at the lake we headed back up to the barn and got some shots of the room set up by Grand Design Events before it was time for the guests to head on in and for the speeches to begin.  the speeches were great.  Michael especially made a heartfelt speech thanking everyone for all their help leading up to the wedding. The speeches were followed by dinner provided by the great guys from the Fatted Calf. Following dinner the party started with the couples first dance at after which it was time for us to hit the road and leave everyone to party the night away.
