Summertime St Anne’s Catherdral and Clandeboye Lodge Wedding: Fiona & Wesley
Fiona and Wesley had their Summertime St Anne’s Cathedral and Clandyboye Lodge Wedding back in June. We were really really looking forward to their big day as back in March we had shot Fiona’s sister Clare’s wedding and we had had soo much fun with them that we were super excited to be meeting up with these guys again to shoot Fiona’s wedding. We started the day at Fiona’s parent’s house getting shots of the girls getting ready and the dresses shoes and other wee bits and bobs. Fiona’s mum had been taken into hospital just before the wedding and there was some doubt whether she would be home and well enough to attend but thankfully they let her out for the day and she was able to be there at the house in the morning. Ever thoughtful though even we got a wee gift the morning of the wedding in the form of the Wedding photographers survival bag which was really really appreciated and some of which (the barocca) is still in our camera bag even now!
We headed outside with Fiona’s flowers before getting some shots of the Fiona at her piano before it was time for us to head off to town to meet up with Wesley and his lads.
We arrived at St Anne’s and got these great shots of inside and of the flowers at the pew ends before we headed out to meet the lads as they arrived. We got these great shots of the boys before the ladies arrived expertly driven by close friends of theirs. Once everyone was in and seated it was time for the ceremony to start. The service was performed by Dean John Mann. It was made extra special by the Grosvenor Choral who sang throughout of which Fiona is a member although they had given her the day off been is it was a very special day for her 😉
Following the ceremony we got some quick shots on the steps of the Cathedral before heading off the Clandyboye Lodge. When we arrived we went straight into the main reception room and got all the little details that Fiona and Wesley pad set for the guests.
We then started the couple shots, We started off at the back of the hotel and were lucky enough that one of the estate residents was just coming home so offered to open the gate for us to use it and the lane. We got these great shots of the guys and it added something really different to the usual shots around the grounds.
It was soon time for everyone to head on in for dinner and speeches, and once dinner was served we headed off home leaving the gang to party the night away!

I don’t think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! But we are so glad we found Graham! We’re not one to pose for photos. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete!
