Relaxed Summer Islandmagee & Ross Park Hotel Wedding :Deborah & Colin
Deborah and Colin had their Relaxed Islandmagee wedding back in September, we started the day with Deborah and her ladies getting all the little details of the dresses, shoes and Jewelry while all the ladies got their hair and makeup was expertly done by Julie Withers and Leah. It was a really relaxed morning and the girls were in good spirits. soon enough though it was time to head off to 2nd Presbyterian Church and to meet up with Colin and the lads.
We Arrived at the church and got some great shots of the lads on their unusual mode of transport. Before the guest started to arrive, we nipped inside the church and got all the fab details that Deborah had arranged, the floral arrangements and pew ends were just fab don’t you think?
Soon Enough the Girls arrived, expertly driven in the classic V.W. bus and Beetle from Star Cars. we got some great shots of the girls outside the church before it was time to head on in. The Service was performed by Rev Peter Bovill, who was warm and funny making everyone feel right at home.
Following the service everyone headed outside to congratulate the new Mr & Mrs before we all jumped into the cars, we made one quick stop at the top of the road to get a quick photo with another Mr & Mrs that Colin and the lads had made especially for the occasion! aren’t they just fab!
Following on from here we headed to Kilcoan Gardens in Islandmagee, Colin lends a had here and it was a perfect spot for photographs not only as its such a lovely garden but as Colin is so involved here it made it really special. We got these great shots of the bridal party around the courtyard and the formal gardens before they headed off to the reception. We hung around a little while longer with Deborah and Colin and got these truly magical shots of them, out in the long grass and down but the pond before we too headed back to the cars, to get on the road to the Ross Park.
We Arrived at the Ross Park and got these had to stop and get the driveway shot with the fab star cars, Cars before we headed on down. We did some family group shots before it was time to head into the function room and for speeches.
I love wedding speeches even though I don’t really know the couples or their families I always think this is one of the best parts of the day, it’s always so warm and funny and you really get a chance to see the couple interacting with each other. Following speeches, dinner was served and the cake was cut.
Following the speeches and dinner, the couple kicked off the dancing, and once the party was in full swing it was time for us to slip off home.
