Classic Winter Leighinmohr House Hotel Wedding: Kerry & Alan

Kerry and Alan married at the end of November,  They had their Classic winter wedding at Finvoy Parish Church followed by their reception at Leighinmohr House Hotel.

We started the day at Kerry’s mum’s house.  Kerry and the girls were all out getting their hair and make-up expertly done by Beauty Within at Estilo Hair Salon. so it was down to Kerry’s brother and Kerry’s mum’s wee Lhasa Apso to show us around.  We got straight to it getting all the little details of the dresses. shoes and accessories all the time keenly being watched by the wee dog 🙂 Once the girls all arrived back we got some great shots of the Bridesmaids on their own and then once Kerry arrived back a little after them we got some shots of her and her mum. Before it was time for us to hit the road and head to the church to meet Alan and his lads.

Once we arrived at the church all the focus was on wee Charlie he stole the show for sure and everyone hearts along with it.  We got some great shots of him with Alan and the other grooms men before all the guests started to arrive.  We mingled with them for a little while until Kerry and  her ladies arrived.

Once the girls arrived it was time to get the ceremony under way.  Kerry’s brother gave her away.  It was a beautiful service full of emotion.  I think this shot of Alan is one of my favorites all year. Following the ceremony we got all the family shots done here at the  Church as it was such a pretty spot and it was pretty cold upside.

We soon got on the road though.  Kerry and Alan had arranged to make a stop at a local house to get photographs taken as the house has particularly pretty gardens.  We made our way there with the whole bridal party and got some great shots of them all.  this was a little bit tricky as it was getting later in the afternoon and it being November meant that the sun was very low in the sky and at one point we had to make a wall of bridal party holding reflectors to stop the sun from hitting the guys faces.  ah the glamorous life of a photographer lol. soon enough though it was time for the bridesmaids and grooms men to head off to Leighinmohr House Hotel.  We stayed on a little while longer with the couple and got these great shots of them. I particularly like the ones in the wood shed. As the sun started to go down it was time for us all to head off to the hotel for dinner.

Once at the hotel the couple got some much needed hot drinks and chatted to their guests while we nipped in and photographed all the little details in the room including their stunning cake.   soon enough though it was time for speeches and dinner.  The speeches were lovely and really heart felt from both sides.

Following dinner it was time for Peach to set up and for the dancing to begin.  The couple had their first dance and as the dance floor filled up with their guests ready to party the night away it was time for us to head home.

I don’t think we can say how amazing Graham and Hannah are in this review! But we are so glad we found Graham! We’re not one to pose for photos. Come the wedding day, it felt like a pleasure to have Graham and Hannah at the wedding! Our guests loved them, Graham is fun and enthusiastic, but also discrete!
