Introduction

Hi, and thanks for booking your professional portrait session with us. We’ve prepared this video with some top tips to get you ready for your session. It lasts just a minute and we appreciate you taking the time to watch.

Getting to us

Our state of the art portrait studio is located in East Belfast. You can find us at 276 Castle-Ray Road. It’s on the junction of the Castle-Ray Road, and Grand Parade – just opposite Cornerstone Vets. We’re about ten minutes from the city centre by car, or on the number 5 Ay Metro route. If you need directions, just pop us in to Google, or give us a bell.

Parking

We’ve got free parking just in front of our building. If you need a hand carrying stuff, or help getting your gang inside, we can come out to help you. Just let us know.

Mobility access

Our studio, and all client areas are located on the ground floor, so you don’t have to worry about any steps. Our doors and corridors are wide too. Again, if you need a hand with getting in, just let us know.

The session

A few days before your session, one of the team will give you a call, to chat about how your session will work. It helps us to find out a little more about who we are photographing, and see if you have any particular needs. We’ll also discuss how your session’s going to work, and what to expect. It’s all very informal, and really helps us personalise your experience with us. On the day of your session, we’ll give you a quick guided tour of the studio, and make sure the kettle’s on!!! While we’re making the tea, you can explore the building, and see all the beautiful images on our walls – to get a taster of the types of things we can do for you. Your time with Graham, in front of the camera, will last around an hour, and during it, we’ll take a range of different shots. If you’re bringing family, we’ll start with individuals and small groups; and then, if you like, photograph everyone. If you’ve particular ideas yourself, just let us know! If you’re bringing pets, we’d encourage you to bring at least one other person, to help manage your pet. For sessions involving multiple pets, we’ll photograph each pet individually; and then, if possible, all together. Humans are welcome in our pet portraits too! If you’re in to anything in particular, why not bring something along to include in the photographs? In to music; Bring your guitar! In to cooking; Bring your apron! We want your pictures to be all about you.

Coming Back to see your pictures

At the end of your session, we’ll sit down for a chat, and find a date for you to come back to see your pictures for your viewing and ordering session. We’ll also talk you through the different types of products we offer, and see what takes your fancy. We’ve a range of different products, all bespokely made, to suit all manners of style and budget. Your viewing and ordering session lasts around an hour, and during it, using our sophisticated software, we’ll show you your pictures on our large projection screen. We’d recommend anyone involved in the decision making process comes with you too. We include refreshments, so you can make a time of it! We’ll help you build your order, and guide you every step of the way. Don’t worry though, you don’t need to decide on anything now, until you come back to see your pictures! There’s no pressure, and you only purchase what you want. We also offer several flexible ways to pay, including 0% interest free finance. We want the experience to be entirely about you, and about what you want. We take the pictures, but, you make the pictures.

Glyn the Dog

Our resident Lhasa Apso, Glyn the Dog, comes to the studio to work every day too! You might see him on our social media! If you’d rather he isn’t around when you’re at the studio, just let us know, and we can send him upstairs, out of the way.

Cancelling or re-scheduling

We understand that sometimes things happen and you might need to change your arrangements. If you need to re-schedule, just let us know, five days before your session, and we’ll find a new time to suit you, free of charge. If there’s less than 5 days to go, we can re-schedule you to a new date, however, there will be a £25 re-booking fee. But don’t worry, we’ll get you booked in again. Some of our sessions can’t be re-scheduled, but, if that’s the case, we’ll have made you aware, at the time of booking. For more information, just give us a call. If you need to cancel your session, please let us know as soon as you can, so we’re not waiting-on-you.

Finally…

Finally, we’re really looking forward to meeting you, and welcoming you to our studio. There’s no need to be nervous, we promise you’ll have a great time.
