By booking or purchasing a session with us, or by purchasing or using a gift voucher, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
We take your privacy seriously. Our full Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data and can be found at www.grahamcrichton.com/privacy.

AVAILABILITY
You agree to attend a session at a pre-agreed date and time (subject to studio availability). Certain session types may only be available on specific days or times. Unless otherwise stated, your session fee covers the photographer’s time only and does not include any products or digital images.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
Unless specifically stated otherwise, all session bookings include the photography session only. Products, prints and digital images are not included and may be purchased separately at your viewing and ordering session.

SESSION FEES
Some portrait sessions require a session fee to secure your booking. Session fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show.

DEPOSITS
For sessions where a deposit is required (including promotional or complimentary sessions), this is taken to secure your booking. It will be deducted from any products purchased at your viewing and ordering session, or refunded if you make no purchase, provided that you:
(a) have not cancelled your session or appointment,
(b) attended your portrait session, and
(c) attended your viewing and ordering session.
Deposits are not refunded if you cancel, fail to attend, or reschedule outside the permitted terms.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
All sessions must be booked by someone aged 18 or over. If anyone under 18 is being photographed, a responsible adult must attend and remain in the studio throughout all sessions.

RE-SCHEDULING
If you need to change your appointment, at least 5 full days’ notice is required. Sessions may be rescheduled once only. A non-refundable £25 rescheduling fee applies for portrait sessions and £50 for viewing and ordering sessions. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session may be shortened or cancelled and treated as a no-show.

NO-SHOWS AND LATE ARRIVALS
Failing to arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled time counts as a no-show. Deposits, booking fees and any included credit or promotional products will be forfeited. Rebooking after a no-show requires a new deposit and is subject to availability.

ILLNESS
If anyone in your group is unwell or contagious, please contact us to reschedule. Standard notice and rescheduling rules apply.

BEHAVIOUR
You are responsible for the behaviour of everyone attending the session, including pets. We may stop a session if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful. You are responsible for any damage to studio property caused by your party or pets.

PETS
Pets must be microchipped and insured. They should be comfortable in new environments and have basic training (e.g. sit, stay). We may stop a session if a pet is distressed or unsafe.

MOBILITY & ACCESS
Our studio is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible. If you require any assistance, please tell us when booking so we can make suitable arrangements.

LIABILITY
We are not liable for any injury, loss or damage except where required by law. You attend sessions at your own risk.

LOCATION
All sessions take place at our studio at 276–278 Castlereagh Road, Belfast, BT5 6AD. Parking is provided free of charge in our customer parking area.

POSING & STYLE
The photographer will guide posing and styling. Specific requests can be accommodated where possible, but final creative decisions rest with the photographer. Headshots and passport photographs are not included in portrait sessions unless booked as such.

RIGHT TO CANCEL
You may cancel at any time, but all fees and deposits are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel any booking and refund any fees paid, without explanation.

PRICING
Current prices at the time your session takes place apply. Prices may change without notice. Any prices quoted before your session are for guidance only.

SALES
All sales are final. Orders cannot be cancelled or downgraded once placed. Upgrades may be possible if production has not begun. All products are bespoke and exempt from distance-selling cooling-off rights.

COOLING-OFF PERIOD
All orders are made in person at the studio and are exempt from distance selling regulations. No cooling-off period applies once an order has been placed.

ORDERING
Orders must be placed and paid for in full at your viewing and ordering session. Payment can be made by cash or card. Orders over £500 may qualify for third-party 0% finance, subject to approval. Goods are produced after the first payment has cleared. For purchases over £500 paid in full, a 5% cashback will be applied.

ONLINE GALLERIES
Images are not placed in online galleries. Your viewing and ordering session is the only opportunity to see and order your images.

COMPLIMENTARY PRODUCT CREDIT
Any complimentary product credit offered is valid only at your first viewing and ordering session and cannot be carried over, combined or used on Bundles unless stated otherwise. Product credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged.

DEFINITION OF HOUSEHOLD AND FAMILY
For the purposes of all offers, promotions, complimentary sessions and vouchers, a “household” means all people who normally live together at the same postal address, regardless of surname or relationship. A “family” includes immediate and extended relatives of anyone in that household, including partners, spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings and in-laws. Each household and family unit is treated as a single eligible participant.
Multiple bookings, vouchers or promotions cannot be claimed by different members of the same household or family under separate names or addresses. If multiple vouchers or bookings are made for members of the same household or family, all associated vouchers will be cancelled and any deposits or booking fees paid will be forfeited. This applies whether the duplicate bookings were made knowingly or unknowingly.

PAID EXPERIENCE VOUCHERS (Gift Vouchers)
Paid Experience Vouchers are paid vouchers purchased directly from the studio or an approved partner. No refundable booking fee applies. They include the specified session and any products stated on the voucher. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase unless stated otherwise. Expired vouchers may be reactivated at our discretion for a £50 fee, which will be applied as complimentary product credit towards wall products or digital images at your Big Reveal. Vouchers are transferable unless stated otherwise. They cannot be exchanged for cash or combined. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced. Prices at the time of your session apply.

VOUCHERS FOR COMPLIMENTARY SESSIONS (Complimentary Experience Vouchers)
Vouchers for Complimentary Sessions are promotional or complimentary vouchers. A £25 refundable booking fee is required to secure your slot. The booking fee will be refunded at the end of your viewing and ordering session or applied to your order, provided you attend both appointments. If you cancel, fail to attend or reschedule outside our terms, your booking fee will be forfeited. Complimentary vouchers include the specified experience only and do not include products or digital images unless stated. One voucher per household per 12 months. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be combined or exchanged.

CHARITY & FUNDRAISER VOUCHERS
From time to time we donate or supply complimentary vouchers to charities, schools and fundraisers. These vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date they are issued by the studio (not the date received by the winner or recipient). A £25 refundable booking fee is required to secure your session. This is refunded at the end of your viewing and ordering session or applied to your order, provided you attend both appointments. If you cancel, fail to attend or reschedule outside our terms, your booking fee will be forfeited. These vouchers include the specified experience only and do not include products or digital images unless stated. One voucher per household per 12 months. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or extended.

COLLECTION & STORAGE
All orders must be collected in person from the studio. Products typically take 3–5 weeks to produce. Orders must be collected within 60 days of notification. After 60 days, storage charges of £10 per week may apply, or the order may be treated as abandoned without refund.

COLOUR & MATERIALS
Slight variations in colour, tone or finish are normal and not considered defects. Print and screen colours will differ within professional tolerance.

DAMAGE ON COLLECTION
Please check your order before leaving the studio. Once taken from the premises, items are deemed accepted.

PRODUCT DEFECTS
All products are checked before leaving the studio. In the unlikely event that a product is found to be faulty or damaged, it must be returned to us within 7 days of collection for inspection. We will repair or replace genuine defects at our discretion. Damage caused after collection, or resulting from misuse or improper handling, is not covered.

COPYRIGHT
All images remain the copyright property of Graham Crichton Photography Limited. Copying proofs or finished images without permission is a breach of copyright law. Digital files, where supplied, are licensed for personal use only. Unauthorised use incurs a £200 per-image illegal use fee plus the appropriate licence fee.

IMAGE USE & MARKETING
We may use images from sessions for our marketing and promotional purposes, including online, in print, social media and in-studio displays, unless you opt out in writing before your viewing and ordering session. Opting out does not affect your session or order.

MOBILE PHONES & CAMERAS
No photography or filming is permitted in the studio during sessions or viewings. Breach of this rule may result in immediate termination of your session and loss of deposit or credit.

PAYMENT PLANS & FINANCE
We offer two payment options:
1. In-studio payment plan: Interest-free, no credit check. A 10% minimum deposit is required. Products are collected once paid in full.
2. Third-party 0% interest finance: Subject to approval by PayItMonthly or Buyline. Available to UK residents aged 18+. Orders are produced after the first payment clears.
Graham Crichton Photography Limited acts as a credit broker, not a lender. Credit is provided by PayItMonthly or Buyline, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Finance is available to UK residents aged 18 and over, subject to status and affordability checks.

REFUNDS
All session fees, deposits, booking fees and payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds are not given for change of mind, missed appointments or failure to attend. Where a refund is issued, it will be processed using the same method as the original payment.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We process your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy at www.grahamcrichton.com/privacy.

FORCE MAJEURE
If events beyond our control (illness, power cuts, weather, etc.) occur, we may reschedule. Deposits move to the new date.

FAIR USE & REFUSAL OF SERVICE
We operate a fair use policy. We may refuse service or cancel a booking where terms are abused, behaviour is inappropriate or safety is at risk. Our liability is limited to refunding any session fee or deposit paid.

DISPUTES & JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

VAT
All prices include VAT at 20% unless otherwise stated.
