We’ve Northern Ireland’s largest collection of gowns outside of the universities
You’ve done the hard work, now let us make it easy for you. In our studio, we have the largest range of academic gowns and hoods outside of the universities and have a permanent collection of a huge range of academic gowns and hoods for Queen’s University, Ulster University, Open University and more. We clean these between sessions and take great care of them. We’ve been told many times, that often our gowns are in better condition than those at the universities. For hoods we do not have, we are able to easilly colour change similar hoods to maintain accuracy. We also have mortarboards (caps), scrolls and gowns. Our graduation sessions take place at our studio, and you are welcome to include your family and pets too! We don't rush you and take our time to get it right. We've got the gowns for most NI degrees, so there's no need to bring your own. Our graduation portrait sessions start from £35 and include:
- One hour studio graduation session with Graham
- Use of our gowns from our extensive range - no need to bring your own
- Family and pets are also welcome to be in your photos too!
- See your pictures as they're being taken - so you can make sure you're happy with how you look
- Choose what you want turned in to printed photographs at the end of the session
- There’s no pressure and no hard sell – just order what you want - prints start from £50 and print packs start from £95

How it works… and how we’re different from the universities
We have the gowns – do we have yours?
At our studio we have the largest collection of academic gowns for the Northern Irish universities outside of the universities themselves – meaning you don’t need to get your gown from your university. Check out our collection to see if we have yours. If we don’t, we may still be able to help you or give you advice on where you can obtain the correct academic gown for your award. If you have your own already, you can also bring that with you to be photographed in it. Oftentimes, the gowns we have are in better condition than those supplied by the universities.
Book your session over the phone or online – it’s easy
It’s super easy to book your session with us. Our friendly booking team can answer any questions you have and can find a time that suits you. If you’re more tech savvy, you can also book your session online using our automated web booking system. Either way, don’t forget – we’re here to help. Our sessions last an hour, and we’ve slots available Tuesday to Saturday. We also have some late night appointments, and same day appointments available too.
You can include everyone
Your session takes place at our state-of-the-art Belfast studio. You can take your time, and we will make sure you look your best. Most families like to be part of that, and that’s why you can include your family, friends and even your pets in your photos. We will take a range of different combinations, such as parents with the graduate, grandparents etc. You are also not limited by the number of people you’d like to include. The whole thing lasts around an hour (just so you know, in case you’re planner dinner afterwards!). You also don’t need to come back to see your images – you’ll see them as they’re taken.
It’s a better experience
During your session, you’ll see the images we take, live, on our big screen. We want to make sure you are happy, and seeing your images as they’re taken allows us to tweak things as we go. You’ll also get to choose the images you want to order at the end of the session, before you leave. We also offer a range of additional services including retouching, same day printing and professional head-shot add-ons to get you ready for your career.
Products & Pricing
We charge a session fee to cover your time with us. Our ‘standard’ session is £35 and our ‘premium’ session is £125. We offer a range of different options for printed photographs and digital images. Individual printed photographs start from £50. Packs of printed photographs start from £95. Digital images start from £125. You’ll find complete information in the downloadable brochure.
